Frequently asked questions

How do I get a quotation?

Send the product, the format, the quantity and the shelf life you need through the quote form. Anything not listed can still be specified.

What information do you need for a quote?

The product, the format, the quantity and the shelf life get you a real number. Artwork, finish and any certification you need refine it.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

It depends on the structure and the print method. Digital and plain stock start low; a custom gravure-printed laminate carries a cylinder cost, so the sensible minimum is higher. Tell us the format and the volume and we will give you the real number for your job.

How soon will I get a response?

Within one business day. A request that needs a factory quotation — a non-standard structure or an unusual barrier — takes longer to price, and we will tell you how long rather than leave you waiting.

Can I get samples before placing a large order?

Yes. Plain stock samples go out on request; printed samples follow artwork approval, so what you hold is what you will receive.

What are the lead times for production and delivery?

Production depends on structure, print method and quantity, and shipping depends on the route. We give both separately in the quotation so you can plan against each.

Need help finding the right solution?

Our team is ready to guide you to the best packaging solution for your business.

Key Information

The ALLWINS resource library holds 14 practical guides for packaging buyers, covering barrier specification, film structures, machinery selection, minimum order quantities, lead times from China and export compliance.

  • The library holds 14 guides written for B2B packaging buyers.
  • Topics cover specification, sourcing, machinery, compliance and lead times.
  • Each guide answers a question a buyer asks before a first order rather than promoting a product.
  • Guides state numbers with their conditions, because a barrier figure without its test conditions cannot be compared.
  • The guides link to the catalogue formats they describe.
What is in the ALLWINS resource library?

Fourteen guides covering how to specify barrier, how to read a film structure, how to choose a packaging machine, what sets a minimum order quantity, how long an order from China takes, and what export compliance requires.

Who are the guides written for?

B2B buyers specifying packaging for the first time or comparing quotations from several suppliers.

Do the guides give real numbers?

Yes, with the conditions attached — a barrier or lead-time figure without its conditions cannot be compared against another supplier's.
